The number of cryptocurrency coins or tokens that are publicly available and circulating in the market is referred to as the circulating supply. A cryptocurrency’s circulating supply might grow or shrink over time. Bitcoin’s circulation supply will progressively increase until it reaches its maximum of 21 million coins. This slow rise is due to the mining process, which generates new coins every 10 minutes on average. The current circulating supply of Bitcoin  The circulating supply, not to be confused with the total supply which refers to the entire supply of coins that exists. The total supply included both the circulating supply as well as supply that is illiquid and held in escrow.  Another concept to be aware of is the maximum supply, which refers to the total number of coins that will ever exist, including those that will be produced or made available in the future.
